Podcast Questions and Format
One of the reasons we invited you as a guest is because you have an interesting and unique story or point of view, and we want to share it as authentically as possible. This is going to be a straight-talking conversation, and while we will start with some prompts, we will let the conversation go where it may.

The only goals? Little to no fluff, no sales pitches (from us, or from you), and no holds barred, as we explore who you are and the experiences and events that shaped you. Naturally, parts of the conversation may get very introspective and  personal. You will always get to define the boundaries, which your host will respect. So far, our guests have talked about:

• Being held hostage in the Saharan desert and being subjected to 'unpleasantries'
• Growing up in South Africa, inadvertently being part of a spying mission in Botswana, and being chased by an elephant
• Escaping bomb threats as a child in Colombia, babysitting for exotic dancers and prostitutes, and finally breaking into offensive security

Below is a sample of some of the questions we may cover, in no particular order. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of questions - we will do our best to tailor questions based on what we learn about you during our research. Our promise is that we won't only ask 'cupcake' questions, so that your real story emerges.

• What are the three things in your life that mean the most to you?
• What is the biggest misconception in security?
• What has been your biggest failure and what did you learn from it?
• If you could talk to the younger you who was just starting out back in ...(provide date)... what are the 3 pieces of advice you would give him/her?
• What do you think are the two or three trends that will define the future of security?
• What have you done as part of your professional career that few people know about?
• What are your job-related pet peeves?
• What are your most trusted sources of professional information?
• What do you find most fulfilling about the work you do?
• What do you do outside of work?
